Harold's Funeral

We lost Grandpa Harold on November 5. He was 87 years old. We will miss him but know that he is now able to do things that his tired body would not let him do here. So here are a few pictures including some with Harolds kids and some of his and Edda's grandchildren and a picture of mom and some of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Halloween

We let Ally loose in the car while Ashley ran into the store for something. She was really loving my oldies CD.

Ashley's Engaged

It is finally official. Ashley and David are getting married December 28th. That's right, just two months from now. They are getting married in the San Diego Temple and we are having the reception at our house. It is going to be a busy month with the wedding just 3 days after Christmas.

Trip to Utah

Mindy, Ryan and Ally have moved to Utah. Ashley and I drove up and got to spend some time with them during their first few days there. This picture was taken when we were at Jarom and Holly's house for Jarom's birthday party.

Youth Activity

Last Saturday our stake had a super activity and this was one of the favorites. Jami and I also got in here and did this but there isn't a picture.

Surfing in Del Mar

A few weeks ago we went out to Del Mar and David gave Tyler and Chad some surfing lessons. They were able to get up right away. We went back when Jarom came to visit and he was also a natural at it.

Bribery

We finally talked them into it. It is costing us $100 each but it was worth it.

Kim and Ashley's Seattle Trip

While the guys were on thier scout trip, Ashley and I went to Seattle to visit with Mindy, Ryan and Ally. It worked out that we were there for Ally's first birthday so that was fun. Ally is quite a character and she has personality plus and kept us entertained the entire week. Ashley's friend David came and spent a few days with us too.

Havasupai Indian Reservation

Last week Craig, Tyler and Chad went with the scouts to Havasupai down in the Grand Canyon. They had a fun trip and even though they are tired, bruised and blistered they want to go back. It is a ten mile hike into the canyon and then 10 back. It is a beautiful place as you can see by the pictures.

Happy 14th Birthday Chad!

We forgot the candles so we rummaged through Grandma's kitchen drawer and found 4 matches and a variety of used candles, some of them we had to cut in half, but we finally came up with 14 things that we could light. David gave him a ten pound chocolate bar. He has to share that with everyone else. So far we have carved off about 1 inch off one side. It will last a long time.
